Andy was born and bred in Bristol and educated in Bristol Cathedral School. He gained a vocal scholarship so was in the Choir until the age of 15. Andy studied piano and church organ at the Royal Academy of Music in London and has played in bands from his 20’s so has lots of experience!!! In 1983 he joined the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and has been MD for many shows and tours. Andy also teaches piano at local secondary schools and has composed original music for show and education purposes. Andy can play absolutely anything and is THE most amazing musician on the circuit – FACT! To boot, he is also an incredibly funny and lovely person and absolutely NOTHING fazes this guy when he is performing!
Andy has been described as “the fairy dust” on the top of the band as he adds so much flair and magic in his playing.
