Justin started playing at the age of 11.  He enjoys playing music of all styles and is a freelance musician often found in many Big Bands, Theatre pits, Brass Bands, Function bands and orchestras.  The Bond Tribute Band – The Name Is Band offers a real challenge and is something completely different to anything else. Justin’s career highlight so far is performing with Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet at a charity gig in London in 2010.  In 2016 Justin played at Ronnie Scotts with Pee Wee Ellis & Fred Wesley and in 2017, again at Ronnie Scotts, with Bobby Shew.  Justin has also played with Claire Martin, Jackie Dankworth as part of the Bristol Jazz and Blues Festival.  In 2017 as part of the Jazz Festival Justin played Bass Trombone on the first screening of Metropolis with the music written by Andy Sheppard receiving not one but two reviews for his bass trombone playing.

In the set Justin switches from Bass to Tenor Trombone to add some depth and a lot of bottom end to the Bond themes!
